TDS is a manufacturer of high quality woodcores for snowboards, skis, wakeboards and kiteboards.
The woodcore is an important quality criterion of the finished product. Therefore special attention is given to exact tolerances and quality requirements.
The woodcores are manufactured in our subsidiary TDS Industrija d.o.o. in Velenje, Slovenia. Due to our modern production methods, our flexibility and the very favorable price-performance ratio we are partners of famous ski and snowboard manufacturers worldwide.

Wood species
Poplar, beech, ash, spruce, exotic wood species (like paulownia, bamboo, etc.). An overview of the offered wood species as well as the technical properties are available as pdf download.
Our R&D department is constantly testing new woodcore constructions and wood species. Some developments:
- Combinations of wood and light foam materials for weight reduction
- Woodcores from „trend woods“ like bamboo
- Hardwood inserts for partial reinforcement
- Wood in different weight classes
TDS processes wood in different weight classes. Poplar for example has a weight range of 330-500 Kg/m³. The consequence can be a variation in the physical properties of the woodcore and thus of the final ski or snowboard.
To prevent this, we automatically sort the wood into several weight classes. This enables us to supply cores with very consistent properties as well as very light woodcores.
